At the tender age of 45, married with three children, RFK Jr sexually assaulted his children's nanny. The nanny, Eliza Cooney, shared her story with Vanity Fair in July of 2024. She had been a 23 year old budding attorney and had in no way encouraged or solicited the sexual attention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Jr. says he has no memory of the incident, but called twice and sent a text apologizing to Ms. Cooney for his behavior.
And he has 9% of the vote for the Presidential election this year. MAGA world is courting him to drop out of the race in return for a sweet sweet position in the second Trump administration (don't hold your breath, Jr!).
Will the apology help or hurt him with voters? Only time and several PR Managers can tell!
