We offer an entertaining look at some of the big issues in history by examining public apologies of the famous and infamous. We’re looking at politicians, serial killers, actors, and you! Send us an apology you would like to make and we’ll read it on the podcast and give you the chance to redeem yourself or just get some guilt off your shoulders. We’re here for you, once a week, maybe more if you are really, really sorry.

Spring Break vs Spring Fever

Spring Break is a rite of passage. Blowing off steam and getting drunk with your friends at the beach is an American tradition that dates back to the 1930s. Nothing is going to stop American college students from partying like it’s 1999, even if it is 2020 and the early stages of a global pandemic. Who cares?! There’s beer, and freedom, and beer, and national news crews tolling the streets looking for drunken college kids to interview. One member of Gen Z found out the hard way that lots of people still watch the national news. His apology came 5 days later (on Insta because he’s Gen Z) after becoming the poster-boy for selfish kids who don’t care about their grandparents. The national scorn he received sent him to the depths of his family’s basement for some soul searching, followed by an outburst of artistic creativity, which he released to the world to teach others lessons he himself learned the hard way.
The Apologists consider how accountable 20-somethings are for their own actions versus how culpable the is media for interviewing drunk college students.
